Due to the pandemic and stay-at-home orders, the world takes shelter in gaming.

The coronavirus causes massive spike in video games sales (Forbes).

The surge in sales leads to console shortages, especially the Nintendo Switch (NY Daily News).

And after citizing gaming just a year ago, WHO changes course to recommend gaming during the pandemic (Business Insider).
